About this Program
This 3-day outdoor camp provides a dedicated, safe, and non-judgmental space for men to explore their emotional landscape, challenge societal pressures of toxic masculinity, embrace vulnerability, and build a supportive community with fellow men. Through a blend of nature immersion, facilitated discussions, and collaborative challenges, participants will gain tools for healthier emotional expression and stronger, more authentic connections.

- Create a Safe Space: Establish a confidential and supportive environment for open emotional sharing.
- Challenge Toxic Masculinity: Identify and discuss harmful societal norms and their impact on men's well-being.
- Foster Vulnerability: Encourage and normalize the expression of a full range of emotions.
- Build Mutual Support: Develop genuine connections and a sense of brotherhood among participants.
- Enhance Emotional Literacy: Provide tools and practices for identifying, understanding, and communicating emotions.
- Re-define Strength: Explore the concept of strength through authenticity, empathy, and connection, rather than stoicism or dominance.
Facilitator:
Souheang Ly is an outdoor facilitator who creatively fuses her background in education, yoga, and passion for nature. She provides a supportive setting for individuals to explore potential, practice mindfulness, and connect with nature, using experiential learning. A core tenet of her philosophy is a strong belief in the wisdom of indigenous sustainable living practices.
- Khaisinh Mounh is a driven data analyst with passions for travel, technology, and social work. He enjoys training others and finding solace in outdoor activities like hiking and camping. At YEP Academy, he facilitates the "Unlock Your EQ in the Nature Setting" program. His guiding philosophy emphasizes that emotional intelligence and the ability to work with people are essential for achieving one's goals.

Eligibilities:
- 18-45 years old,
- Love and respect nature,
- Open to new learning styles,
- Profile: youths, environmentalists, nature lovers, and individuals interested in personal well-being, personal development, empowerment, reflections, and nature connection practices,
- Region: Primarily Southeast Asia (open internationally).
Number of participants:
8 - 20 people
What's included:
- All facilitation sessions and learning materials,
- Accommodation & campsite fees,
- Accident insurance (up to USD 5,000),
- Food: 7 meals during the camp,
- Preparation meeting (online) one week prior to the program; details sent after registration,
- Transportations from Phnom Penh to the campsite round trip.
What's not included:
- Camping/outdoor equipment and training materials,
- Food before and after the program.
Other Important Information:
50% Scholarships via donor-subsidy from German Government is available: only for ASEAN and SAARC citizen.
