A three-day outdoor biodiversity camp for teens is an engaging and educational experience. We blend hands-on scientific activities with fun, outdoor challenges that foster a deeper appreciation for nature. This plan focuses on a different theme for each day to build upon the campers' knowledge.

You will learn about:

Biodiversity and the ecosystem at the campsite

Understanding threads and conservation

Starting the journey to become the Biodiversity Guardian

Facilitator:

Souheang Ly: is an outdoor facilitator who creatively fuses her background in education, yoga, and passion for nature. She provides a supportive setting for individuals to explore potential, practice mindfulness, and connect with nature, using experiential learning. Eligibility:

• Cambodia
• Age between 12 – 16 years old
• All gender
• Profile: urban students
• Interests: creativity, adventure, camping, nature and biodiversity

Number of participants:

10 – 18 participants

What's included:

• Accommodation & Camping Fees
• Facilitation & all learning materials
• Local transport
• Accident insurance provided by YEP (coverage up to USD 5,000)
• Child protection guidelines

What's not included:

• Travel to/from meeting point
• Vaccinations and personal medication
• Personal outdoor equipment
